Our Community

Our Campus, PTO, Staff, and More

Our Campus

Temple Sinai is located at 18801 NE 22nd Ave, Miami Florida 33180. We have a magnificent campus, situated on many wooded acres in Sky Lake, across the Oleta River from the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center. A sense of serenity and natural beauty enhances the architectural integrity of the Carolyn Kemelhor Campus. Ours is a lush, green campus that allows every space to be a space of learning and discovery.

Every Child Excels

Speech, physical, and occupational therapists can be vital professional members of a child's team. With the creation of ECEx we are bringing all of these professionals together to ensure that every child has the tools they need to excel.

Hot Lunch

We are proud to offer delicious, healthy, and kosher hot lunch each day. Hot lunch may be ordered daily or monthly. Lunches are $7.75/day.

You'll have 3 options to choose from each day: Main Meal, Picky Pasta, and either a dairy or aeat Alternative (depending on the main meal for that day.

All students (18m - 5yrs) will receive one Gan Sinai T-Shirt on Back to School Day. Children wear these shirts on Fridays for Shabbat. Please contact Rabbi David if you need additional shirts for $12 each.

All K-5th students must purchase their daily uniform shirt from Chai Tees. On shabbat all K-5th students must wear a white uniform shirt.

Playground Shabbat

Join us for Shabbat at our playground every third Saturday of the month from 10am - 12pm!

Enjoy our playground and our beautiful campus with family and friends or make a playdate and bring your friends. No pressure, just play!

Open Door Policy

We have an open door policy, which means that you are welcome to see your child and our program in action (please contact your teacher or Rabbi David to find the best time to come in). We welcome your participation!

Security

We all share concerns about the safety and security of our children, guests, and all those who are on our campus. Temple Sinai takes those concerns seriously. There are armed guards on campus at all times. Please know we are always available to answer your questions and other concerns.

Challah

We offer the option to purchase Challah every Friday that we will send home with your child. All proceeds go directly to PTO to help fund all of our fun and exciting PTO programming.

Our PTO

Our PTO’s mission is to bring families, teachers, and administrators together to enrich the school community through programming and fundraisers. When parents are involved it greatly enriches children’s learning. All Sinai parents are invited and encouraged to attend meetings, join committees, and lend their support to help Sinai fulfill its mission and provide the best education and learning environment for our children.

Our PTO events and fundraisers include our Annual Challah Bake, Purim Carnival, Grandparents Day, Passover Seder, Scholastic Book Fair, Rosh Chodesh Popscicle Parties, Dress Down Days (K-5th), and so much more.
